How cashmere wool is made?
Cashmere wool is produced by collecting, cleaning, dehairing, and spinning the fine underdown of cashmere goats. After sorting raw fiber by micron count and color, mills use specialized machines to separate coarse guard hairs. The resulting pure cashmere is carded, spun into yarn, and dyed using low-impact colorants. The yarn is then knitted or woven into garments prized for softness, warmth, and light weight.
